FoodBlessed , Slow Food Beirut, and Slow Food Youth Network Lebanonare glad to bring you the 3rd edition of Lebanon’s Disco Soup !

Disco Soup is a process where excess food produce, which is neglected or wasted, is collected from farmers/other sources and used to make a soup. The soup is then served to everyone present ! The produce is fresh and healthy, and has no business being discarded ! Disco soup is a fight against food waste.

COME PEEL THE LOVE WITH US ON THE 17TH OF MAY AT THE BEIRUT STREET FOOD FESTIVAL !
Bring your best peelers, chopping knives, and favourite aprons (we will also have some extra ones lying around in case you forgot) ! Feel free to bring also surplus veggies or fruits that you were able to rescue form going to waste from your fridges, pantries or grocery store in your neighborhood !

Event will kick in at Monot Public Parking at 6 :00pm sharp but you are more than welcome to arrive early to help us out in setting up !
We will chop and peel and make our delicious soup till 8pm. After that we will all enjoy the labor of our love together !

Event is PUBLIC AND FREE for anyone ! So bring your loved ones and friends and fam ! There’s no age limit ! If you’re 6 or 60, you are all able to help us !
