What is Disco Soup ?

Disco Soup is a Cook-up & festive event. It is part of a grass-roots international movement to raise awareness of food waste ! 

Where does the produce come from ?

The produce are surpluses from wholesalers such as Aldi Kilburn, which should have gone to waste. Surpluses are perfectly edible but are binned due to aesthetics reason or absurd ‘Best-Before’ dates. Much food goes to waste in London, in catering, in retail and in our homes : and Disco Soup highlights that we can feed many hundreds of people from this produce.

How will I participate ?

Come from 6pm to Chop/Prep and help for the cooking.
Please bring a chopping board, knife, (peeler) and tuperware if you can
A bar is incorporated in the Community Center, so you can get a drink or two
Suggested donation of £2 to cover gas, electricity and musicians costs

Where will that be ?

14 Mazenod Aveue, Just off Kilburn High Street.
Closest Tube : West Hampstead/Jubilee. There will be chalk arrows to direct you to your food waste rave.
