【7/21(月)海の日】、【高円寺北口駅前広場】で、日本では初となるDISCO ○○イベント、【DISCO VEGGIE】を行います！

【参加は完全無料！】おいしい野菜料理を楽しい音楽に合わせて食べていただけます！

○DISCO VEGGIEとは？
世界中で問題になっている食料廃棄への抗議活動として始まったイベント、ディスコスープ。音楽に乗せて楽しみながら、捨てられる運命にあった食材達をスープにして、みんなで一緒に食べるイベントです。ヨーロッパを中心に広がり、今では週に一度は世界のどこかでディスコスープが開かれています！今回スローフードユースネットワーク東京は、ディスコベジーと称して色々な野菜料理を提供します！

ディスコ・べジーの会場には：
・ 市場または生産者から集められた廃棄野菜や果物、そしてそれで作った料理
・ 野菜のピーラー、包丁とまな板で武装した人びと
・ テーブルと、人々を集めるための場所――町の広場、公衆のスペース、市場、など
・ ＤＪ、いろいろな音楽、活気に満ちた参加者が準備されています！

とにかく楽しみに、おいしいものを食べに、たまたま高円寺に行く用事がある、といった感じで足を運んでください！

【July 21(Mon) Sea Day】、【Square in front of Koenji North Exit】the *FIRST* Disco Soup event in Japan…【DISCO VEGGIE】！！！！

【Free participation！】Come and prepare and eat with us delicious food dishes made from fresh vegetables at the sounds of music！

○What is DISCO VEGGIE ?
Disco Veggie is the first Slow Food Youth Network Tokyo’s effort of the series of Disco Soups that have been taking place all over the world.

Disco Soup is a culinary and musical act of protest that sees young and old people coming together in public places to chop vegetables that would otherwise have been wasted. Soups and salads are then prepared and distributed for free to the general public ; often in huge quantities, always to music.

The ingredients of our Disco Veggie will be the following :
・ Discarded vegetables and fruit gathered from a farmer
・ People armed with vegetable peelers, knives and cutting boards
・ Tables and a place to gather people – a town square, co-working space, or a marketplace, etc.
・ A DJ or any musician or band

Tha best thing to do with food is to eat it, not to throw it away ! And have fun in the process ;) !

Come to have fun with us and fight against food waste (while eating delicious dishes !) in Koenji station on the 21st of July !
